A fashionable taste of my pop-cultured influenced life
Photographer and fashion innovator Nick Knight staged the first ever fashion shoot created via Instagram on his site SHOWStudio.
The one-of-a-kind shoot features British model Cara Delevingne, who poses with an array of cute creatures (including a newborn yellow chick and adorable kitten) and wears pieces by the likes of Valentino Couture and Mary Katrantzou, while decked out in jewels by Fabergé, Van Cleef and Arpels and Cartier.
I am a huge Dakota Fanning fan. She isn’t only very beautiful (though her beauty is a bit unconventional) but also a smart and witty girl which makes her even more interesting as a personality. When she does a fashion magazine it is always a new story as every photo of the star brings sort of message to us. Her latest photoshoot for California Style is fantastic and Dakota, yet again, appears more elegant than her age.

Australian beauty Miranda Kerr covers the March 2012 issue of HauteMuse, and also appears inside the magazine for a sophisticated studio shoot captured by Nino Muñoz. Dressed in pieces by Chanel, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent and more, Miranda is extremely elegant and feminine in a selection of vintage and modern pieces which have been selected by stylist Akari Endo-Gaut.
Roberto Cavalli has aired his thoughts on American fashion. The Italian designer believes that it is "terrible" and blames Anna Wintour for it in particular. He says that you almost can't look at it:
"Just look at American fashion, which is almost fashion. It's terrible and you almost can't look at it, but it has been driven by a great journalist - Anna Wintour - who wants all women to be like her and to dress the way she does.''
Cavalli advises new designers to be different and set themselves apart: 'try to be different and try to create artistic styles'' which he says will increase the chances of their pieces 'actually being worn''. He also thinks young designers have been taught to be minimalists by their mentors at fashion school, which doesn't benefit them:
''I see young people coming out of design schools and they are too minimalist. Probably because their professors are minimalist, because they in turn have professors who follow styles of designs that are too industrial and commercial. I can only say try to be different and try to create artistic styles. Then the clothes can be transformed, changed and modified to take into account wearability and the possibility of actually being worn.''
