British TV host Alexa Chung graces the cover of Elle UK's March 2012 issue, as photographed by Thomas Schenk. Alexa shows off her bare legs as she poses in a pale blue sweater with a matching white lace collar and semi-transparent mary-jane heels, all taken from the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 collection. The minimally styled photo makes for yet another flawless cover shot of Alexa.
I have an eclectic love of music. I am a huge Beatles fan, and I absolutely die for the Beach Boys, Matchbox 20, Panic! at the Disco, Hanson, Lady Gaga, and any good country song (current obsession: Red Solo Cup by Toby Keith, though most people wouldn't call it "good"). However, I have grown up listening to musicals and Broadway cast albums and can probably beat any Trivia Pursuit category of Rogers and Hammerstein. I adore Bernadette Peters, Kristen Chenoweth, Sutton Foster, Sierra Boggess and Idina Menzel. Nothing makes me happier than my Broadway Sirius XM station that I listen to religiously on my way to work every morning. Favorite cast albums? "Anything Goes" , "Wicked", "Les Miserables", "The Book of Mormon", "South Pacific" and "Camelot". I do love a good "Jersey Boys" song too. But, I have a slighter higher than life love for the cast album of "Wicked". I know every single song by heart, to the point where I start to irritate people with whom I am driving. "Defying Gravity", "Popular", "The Wizard and I" and "One Short Day" are just some of the best and I wish I could hit those notes like Chenoweth and Menzel. I love them!
I would trade instant places with Mary-Kate Olsen for the day! I would be able to hop the early Starbucks line with her fab sister Ashley, jump into our tinted black car with a driver and head to the meatpacking district of NYC to the wonderful showrooms and studios of the labels "The Row" and "Elizabeth & James". I would learn a lot, see a lot, and spend the entire day filled to the brim of all things Olsen. Oh I'd love this!
What girl doesn't love Valentino? I can’t but admire Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs, especially Haute Couture ones, because these are always totally sophisticated, feminine, delicate and exquisite. Spring 2012 collection is very beautiful with fabrics so airy and diaphanous that up to 5 layers were used to achieve the deep lightness effect the two designers wanted.
All dresses in Valentino Couture Spring 2012 collection came in white, nude and pale rosy and blue colors. Many came with lovely small prints which added a little glamour and cuteness to the looks.
Paired with printed flats Valentino dresses came in maxi and midi lengths all looking modest and elegant.
