My lovely icons & influential idols Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen scaled back their fashion week presentation, showing the collection by private appointment rather than on the runway . But the designing duo haven't dialed back their ambitions. Showing off their debut handbag collection (amazing!!) which includes a doctor bag, a day tote, an elongated "memo bag," a crossbody messenger, even a crocodile backpack, they said prices will be in the Celine and Hermès range. "The workmanship and materials are at that level," Ashley pointed out. The bags' clean, unadorned look will give them a good shot at It status next season. (Darn)
The Olsens didn't cut back on the details and luxurious textiles either. Their shiny crocodile and fox fur coat is the kind of showstopper they'll probably only sell one or two of at trunk shows, a job requirement the sisters insist that they love. The bomber lamb jacket with a cool edge that was paired with matching velvet pants was more understated. Ditto a cashmere and mink cropped sweater shown over a slim lace skirt. Who else but these two would do this?
Overall, the entire collection is beautifully tailored with impeccable details. They put a modern twist on classic designs, and their love of furs and mink will inspire and leave others desirable.

Say it ain't so Brad. They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. But what about the client list? So according a lot of other blogger sites, the rumor going around is that when Brad Goreski left his position as stylist Rachel Zoe’s style director last September, he took Zoe’s client Demi Moore with him. Can you say drama?
A "friend" of Brad's who claims to be close to the situation told Page Six this morning that Goreski will dress Moore for this year’s round of Oscar parties, and that he dressed her for the Sundance Film Festival, too.
I am addicted to Zoe's tv show, as I'm sure most of you are, so we fans of The Rachel Zoe Project can remember that Moore had been a Zoe client for years — she even appeared on the show. And now — according to the story, at least — Zoe is “furious. Brad assisted her in styling Demi. Now she feels betrayed.”
Rachel Zoe hasn't commented yet, and Goreski has already told Page Six he won’t be commenting on the story, either. So there’s really no way to know for sure if this is even true.
Goreski and Zoe parted ways amicably last fall, but there’s been lots of speculation since then as to whether or not the two have been in some kind of fight. After all, now that they’re not working together, they’re competitors. And while it’s possible that competition could put a little strain a years-long relationship, I'm pretty sure that’s where this story ends: competition.

Seriously, Blake Lively is a lucky girl. Not only she has recently become the face of Chanel handbags due to Karl Lagerfeld’s special attention to her but she has now got her own Louboutin shoe. Do you want to know how one can get a designer shoe named after her? Easy! Just go to the shoe store and tell the designer you love his creation. All done!!! Now listen to the story about the Blake shoe…

While shooting Gossip Girl in Paris Blake Lively went to Louboutin’s atelier and couldn’t decide which pair to buy as all the pairs were just wonderful. Christian Louboutin was there at the time. He asked whether the girl loved a pair of shoes she was holding in her hands. She replied she would want to ‘sleep with it under her pillow’. And he said that since then on this very pair would be named ‘Blake’.
This is how Blake Lively herself tells the story (according to WWD) :
I went to the Louboutin store and I was walking around, like every shoe here is so beautiful and I saw this one pair and I said: “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
He said: “Do you love it?” I said: “I want to sleep with it under my pillow every night.”
He said: “We’re naming it the Blake then.” It was insane. It’s like my greatest accomplishment.”
The high-heeled sandal looks very pretty. It features seven straps in a rainbow of different colors, each fastened with a button. The heel and sides are made of black patent leather, and the sole is red as usual.
The Blake shoe, which will soon be available to buy in both the U.S. and the UK, will cost $635.

Among the winners were Tom Ford, Coco Rocha (seriously?), Cheryl Cole, Emma Watson, Blake Lively and many others. The list of nominations was long enough.

Emma Watson (who deserves every award given!!) received Style Icon Award. The Harry Potter actress commented:
It feels amazing. Fashion is something that I love. I try not to think about it too much. I try and block all that off and I just do what I love and just have fun with it. I’ve definitely been feeling the pressure a bit more recently but it’s just fun for me.”

Natalie Portman, who missed the event due to her pregnancy, was named the Best Actress while Blake Lively received Best TV Star award. Blake looked beautiful on the red carpet wearing one of Emilio Pucci gorgeous designs.

I have been dying to see this collection. I am a huge Stacey Bendet fan! and this collection is an ecclectic mix of elegance and party-ready with a flapper-era vibe. It's adorable without looking too costumey and it has just enough shine and lace to be successful.
