Lady Gaga, who is currently in Tokyo, has stepped out in a really interesting outfit. She wore a leather bonnet which was covered in spikes all over, a matching jacket with the same spikes on the back, a black bra, skirt and a pair of very high heels. She finished her look with a studded handbag, fingerless gloves and kinky sunglasses.

Marc Jacobs is spending the Christmas season in St. Barts...with some pretty famous friends! (and baby!)
Accompanied by his beach buddy, ex-fiance and HuffPost blogger Lorenzo Martone, Marc showed off his quirky tattoos in an uber short navy bathing suit.
And things got even more fashionable when fellow vacationer Rachel Zoe dropped by with baby Skyler Berman, who is ADORABLE!!!

How sophisticated does Miss Dakota look with her sultry close-up photo. She also is donning black liquid eyeliner and matte red lips (that color is awesome! Dior?) and is surrounded by wispy strands of that signature blonde hair.
On Tuesday night, our 22 month old and myself headed back to my hometown of Cape May, NJ for two days (off from work) to visit family and friends and I started seeing news feeds, tweets, and facebook updates of Taylor Swift sightings. I thought this might be possible since she is kind of a local "talent" and a familiar face that many don't see too often these days, but someone who everyone remembers. Growing up in PA, Taylor Swift and her family have been coming to the Jersey shore for many years (her parents own a home in Avalon, relatives own a bed & breakfast in downtown Cape May, off the historic road of Washington Street). For years she took part in local summer talent shows and has come back a few times to make a quick appearance. Well let the frenzy begin. Sightings of Taylor Swift were everywhere, from The Lobster House Restaurant (amazing food, and yes, she did eat with her family and friends, and one bodyguard), antique shops, pancake houses, and more. Everywhere we went, I kept an eye out for a "Taylor sighting", but no such luck. However, rumors were confirmed with some Twitter pics from Miss Taylor Swift. (see above and below). She tweeted about cold winter days on the beach, and reliving childhood summer memories. Love her and how nostalgic the holidays are for her, and for everyone. Anne Hathaway, Bruce Willis, Bam Margera, Halle Berry, and more have been spotted vacationing in historic Cape May, which is famous for being the oldest seashore resort in North America, and for it's Victorian decor, shops, carriage rides, and ghostly haunted mansion tours. It's beautiful and the beaches are the best.

oh, my gosh. i can't think of anything cuter! welcome to the world, baby Boone McCoy Church (10 weeks)

Our Guest Editor series for 2012 has been rather impressive, if we do say so ourselves, and we're truly delighted to present the last incredible installment today, featuring Ashley Olsen! Beloved for her impeccable sensibilities and admired for her incredible work with The Row, Olsen is truly a fashion entrepreneur of the highest order. In addition to designing The Row, Olsen (along with her sister, Mary-Kate) helm an empire that includes Elizabeth and James, Textile Elizabeth and James, the exclusive-to-J.C.Penney line Olsenboye, and their newest project, the online-only e-commerce site StyleMint. As if that's not enough, our Guest Editor also serves as creative director to the Italian sneaker brand Superga and happens to be a style icon for stylish women everywhere. Though wildly busy running her fashion empire, Olsen kindly took a moment out of her schedule to talk to us about all of her favorite things right now, ranging from a beloved Resort 12 look to a surprisingly thrifty thrill (pearl earrings, who knew?). Read on for all of her essentials and be sure to tell us who you'd love to see as Guest Editor in 2013!
Shiseido Translucent Eyebrow Shaper ($23)
How does Olsen maintain her famously full eyebrows? With this sheer gel from Shiseido! Formulated to shape and define brows, this hard-to-find product has a cult following, thanks to its thin brush and long-lasting formula.
Majorica Baroque Pearl Drop Earrings ($65)
Though Olsen could wear any jewels in the world, she decided to include an accessible pick in her story today: these simple pearl earrings. Crafted in Spain from organic, man-made pearls, these delicate earrings will add a little luster to any look.
Barbour Classic Bedal Jacket ($379) in Forest Green
Olsen might have designed a stunning animal-print coat for The Row, but the outerwear option on her list is this truly timeless piece. A medium-weight jacket with a zip-in liner and a corduroy collar, it's the perfect option for casual weekend errands or countryside vacations and only gets better with age.
Textile Elizabeth and James Jimi Jean ($195)
Inspired by and named in honor of Jimi Hendrix, these bell-bottom jeans are truly the last word in psychedelic chic. Featuring whipstitch embellishment on the outer seams, these jeans will bring the spirit of Woodstock to whatever you're wearing.
Frédéric Fekkai's Protein RX Shampoo and Conditioner ($39 each)
Whether it's short or long, one thing's for sure: Olsen protects her signature blonde locks with Frederic Fekkai's reparative products. She loves the shampoo and conditioner from the Protein RX line in particular, as they strengthen hair damaged by coloring and heat styling with a soy and milk protein-infused formula. Nourishing without being heavy, these products are exactly what your hair wants!
Superga Classic Sneakers ($65) in Navy
Olsen is involved with Superga in an official capacity now, but she's long appreciated the brand and has been spotted in these simple sneakers on numerous occasions in the past. Available in a number of hues (including pale pink!), these simple shoes offer an Italian twist on the classic canvas lace-up.
Celine Resort 2012, Look 22
The party outfit on Olsen's wishlist? A ladylike sheer Celine dress with a black stretch leather bra and a wide belt! Demure yet edgy, this modern look is the epitome of chic in every way. We adore the nude elbow-length gloves and white ankle-strap platform sandals, and totally understand why Olsen appreciates this look. To emulate this ensemble, we recommend picking up ASOS' Petite Dobby Mesh Dress ($45) and cinching the waist with a thick belt, like Halogen's Lizard-Embossed Belt ($42). To finish, you must snag Portolano's Opera-Length Leather Gloves ($395), which will give your after-hours outfit a perfectly prim finish!
Taschen's Art of the 20th Century ($30)
Olsen actually owns the limited edition, sold-out hardcover iteration of this book, which originally debuted in 1998. While that version can only be found in Taschen's archives, you can get your hands on a much more affordable softcover version! The two-volume set covers everything from photography to new media and would make an incredible addition to anyone's collection.
The Row <Tall Day Luxe Bag ($5400) in Black with Silver Hardware
When it comes to handbags, Olsen goes for understated luxury, so it makes sense that she chose one of her own styles! The tote on her mind is this sleek bag with two top handles and a detachable strap. Also available in a stunning terracotta hue, this bag is truly a classic investment piece. If you can't afford to invest quite so much, we believe Tory Burch's Robinson Magazine Tote ($550) is a completely chic and sophisticated alternative. Le Labo's Vintage Candle ($60) in Santal 26
Um, why so angry? The entire family looks like a kooky-rich version of the Addams family with a cold statue stare (and of course, Louboutins). Poor Rob looks cast aside as if he's wondering if they even know he exists (maybe if the mirror ball trophy was won, they would have noticed).
Oh, good Lord. The one and only over-the-top italian mommy "housewife" of NJ debuted her family Christmas card, and of course, it's over the top. However, instead of a stiff, regal, roll-your-eyes at the couture (Kardashian?) greeting card, her photographer captured some funny sisterly humor. I mean, who hasn't want to tie up their sister with lights and hang her off the roof? Adorable, funny, and very "Guidice". Get it?

Stella McCartney has unveiled her second launch of fragrance, a new perfume named 'L.I.L.Y', which stands for 'Linda I Love You', a nickname Stella's father Paul McCartney, gave her mother. The new perfume will be available exclusively from Selfridges from January 26th. The campaign stars a natural looking Malgosia Bela, who holds up the new sculptural bottle as she poses nude with loose hair and a makeup free face.

British model Cara Delevingne returns as the face of Burberry for another season, this time posing alongside actor Eddie Redmayne. Photographed by Mario Testino, this season the label chose quite the minimalist studio shoot which shows off the best of their colorful Spring/Summer 2012 collection, includingclutch bags, very high woven heels and of course those classic beige trenches.

Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher pose in an pink ice-cream parlor for the Spring/Summer 2012 Louis Vuitton campaign. Sitting at pastel pink booths and surrounded by retro looking furniture, this sweet ad campaign was captured by Steven Meisel and coordinates perfectly with the feminine designs that Marc Jacobs has created for the collection. Both girls get stuck into ice-cream sundaes and relax as they wear delicate lace dresses and more, for this whimsical shoot that is a change of direction from the dominatrix inspired campaign of last season. It's sugary sweet and absolutely beautiful. But then again, it's Marc Jacobs!

Back from completing her college degree, British model Lily Cole has made a return to fashion as planned, while continuing to work on her career as an actress. Appearing on the January 2011 issue of Vogue Russia, Lily wears a bright orange visor, as well as a knit top and a plum leather skirt. Showing off her signature red hair which has been curled loosely, Lily looks as amazing as ever for this seductive, chic cover shot - just as beautiful as before!

At the age of 62 Meryl Streep makes the oldest woman covering Vogue but she is definitely one of those who has really deserved it. The Oscar-winning actress looks amazing on her first Vogue cover. She is featured sitting on a stone in a simple blue belted dress with ocean waves lapping against her.
While usual celebrity photoshoots demonstrate us stars striking sultry poses in barely-there outfits Maryl Streep’s one is very demure and dreamy. The woman, who used to play strong personalities like Miranda Priestley in "The Devil Wears Prada", looks very calm and relaxed posing for cameras. She clearly enjoys being in nature and breathing the fresh air.

Russian supermodel Sasha Pivovarova and her husband, photographer Igor Vishnyakov, are expecting their first child. The 26-year-old mom-to-be is reported to be three months pregnant now, so she plans to take a break from modeling soon.
Sasha, who already has two successful careers as a model and an artist, has recently launched a lingerie and sleepwear collection under collaboration with Gap. The collection features a few sets with botanical-inspired prints.
Sasha Pivovarova’s designs are already available in stores and online. Pieces are starting at a very affordable $26.
Designer brand Chloé only recently announced that they are releasing a brand new scent, and now the ad campaign for the new perfume has made its way online. The campaign stars French model Camille Rowe, who poses in a lush overgrown field wearing a floaty sheer ensemble, as captured by Camilla Akrans. The campaign is also expected to include a short film by Mario Sorrenti. Camille poses with an oversized version of the bottle, which has a fresh, green tinge and is decorated with a green ribbon - it looks much like their previous 'Chloé' scent which has a golden theme, and was created by the same perfumer, Michel Almairac. The new fragrance isn't due in stores until March next year.

I know Birkin bags are expensive. But are they as expensive as $203,150? Not usually. But a luxurious piece made of red crocodile skin with white gold and diamond hardware produced in 2006 might be that worthy.
The Hermes Birkin bag has been sold at Heritage Auctions in Dallas this week. It was one of several Hermes bags on sale but it was definitely the dearest. While it expected to fetch around $80,000 it actually almost tripled the sum.
I would love to know why someone decided that this look was "so Elle" to be used for a covershot. Katherine Heigl is giving her best Kate Gosselin face with a very nice mom-blowout hairdo (and that belt is the finest from Claire's accessories). This is the most boring cover ever.
