So I was up early getting my son ready for daycare, and thought I would watch Dina Lohan on The Today Show with Matt Lauer (who I absolutely clap my hands in praise towards, since he's never afraid to ask or say what we all are thinking!). . I’m amazed this actually went ahead, when I saw it advertised yesterday, kind of under the radar. Dina Lohan acted like she was in pain or having to swallow horrible medicine at having to answer real questions during their August interview. She said she felt ‘ambushed’ by Lauer asking too many ‘tough questions’. I guess someone bought someone a muffin basket. Because they’re friends again. This is becoming like a coke-addicted Disney-sponsored Groundhog Day. And no one except Dina Lohan thinks Lindsay Lohan is really going to stay clean once she’s out of the Betty Ford Clinic. She’s also making Michael Lohan look like a great parent, by giving unnecessary specifics about the latest rehab. Dina says Lindsay has changed for the better and that Betty Ford is a ‘life-changing’ and ‘amazing place’. Lauer asked the 48-year-old mother, who spent two weeks in family sessions at the clinic, about her daughter’s condition. "She's so  happy, relaxed. She’s just a different person.’ She adds, ‘She’s been in a couple facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her. They get into your psyche and your family and they bring the problem to the surface.’ Is it cruel to be taking bets on how long, post-rehab, until this woman’s daughter is caught taking cocaine again? It is? Okay. I guess I shouldn’t have put you down for that $5. You can just owe me.

Ok, so part of me thinks I shouldn't even give in and blog about this stupid girl, but then part of me is so annoyed by the way she is trying too hard to be so "bad". What’s is happening to Taylor Momsem? She’s been so sweet and now she looks like an unwashed young prostitute. At 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards she looked like her usual recent self – pantless, in huge high boots (by the way, those were the McQueens), a wrongly-buttoned jacket, a lacy sheer bra and a neck collar. And of course her Very smoky eyes and lips you see from a mile away.

What’s the most horrible about it is that she’s an idol for millions of teenagers who try to copy her style and looks. I don’t want to see such girls in plenty passing me in the street. Can’t someone stop her from dressing like this? She’s still a teenager!

The Gossip Girl beauty Leighton Meester has been chosen to represent Vera Wang’s new fragrance that is young and passionate as the star herself. The designer says Leighton is the girl that appeals to other women and that is what important.

I love to view and watch all kinds of fashion shows — from the depressing to the sublime, the creepy to the kooky. Today I add “cute” to the pile, since I’ve stumbled upon what may be the world’s most adorable fashion show. Behold: the kids’ fashion show during Zurich’s Charles Vogele Fashion Days.

I absolutely love watching children walk the runway before, and this is like that times a million as far as cuteness is concerned. Switzerland sure is full of cute tykes! SO CUTE!

The collection features pillows and rugs in four different designs: Feathers, Hummingbirds, Skulls, and Military Brocade and will be sold in The Rug Company stores around the world. So, how much does one have to shell out to sleep with McQueen?

The Military Brocade rug is handmade and, depending on the size, can take up to eight months. It’s priced at $230 a square foot which means that a 12×9 foot version will run you $24,840, while an 18×12 rings up at $49,680.

My favorite is the Hummingbird Aubusson rug with wool and metallic thread. It’s obviously gorgeous and obviously on backorder.

The pillows aren’t priced, but a similarly sized one by Vivienne Westwood costs $635, so assume you’re going up from there.
