Vlada Roslyakova Does Swarovski Spring/ Summer 2011 Ad Campaign

Vlada looks so glamorous on adverts for Swarovski Spring/ Summer 2011 collection. While the face of the girl is a bit blurred Swarovski crystals shine brightly as if they are far more important than the beauty wearing them.

Blake Lively Bought 40 Pairs Of Louboutins At The Sample Sale

Blake Lively loves her Loubs — she even has some named after her! So it’s no surprise that she walked away from the Christian Louboutin sample sale with over 40 pairs. Except, it is kind of a surprise. Because while sample sales provide deep price cuts, I have to assume a girl who has a freakin’ Louboutin named after her always gets a special discount of sorts.

Regardless, Lively doesn’t plan to keep all 40+ red-soled pairs: “I have sisters, so I’m getting gifts for them and for friends.” Among many reasons, this makes us wish that we were friend. Sigh. The invite-only VIP sale was indeed super-exclusive — WWD reports hearing at least two women begging to be let in (one was reportedly “on the verge of tears”). Oh, what discount shopping will do to people!

January Jones Is Now Officially The Face Of Versace

It was really only a matter of time before Donatella Versace asked Mad Men star January Jones to front one of her campaigns. They’ve been an inseparable pair ever since the designer tapped the actress to star in an Elle spread featuring her dresses last spring. Or, at least as inseparable as they could get through Jones wearing Versace almost everywhere she went.

But now, it’s official. WWD reports that Mario Testino will shoot the actress for the house’s spring campaign, even though a Versace spokesperson would only go so far as to say that Jones is “featured” in the campaign.

Whether she’ll simply stand alongside other beautiful women (Can you imagine the entire female cast of Mad Men in Versace? Our hearts be still!) or be the sole focus of the shots will be unknown until we see the campaign for ourselves. But what is known is that even a tangential amount of involvement is all Jones needs to be happy in fashion. Last year, Jones said to Donatella, “I want to be in fashion. But I wouldn’t want to be the actress with a fashion line that other people design.”

And honestly, in an age when even Lindsay Lohan has her own clothing line, (with its own legging of the month club) that sentiment is refreshing — admirable, even.
