Not everyone in Hollywood is a peacock. As a manager of global promotions at Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Kristie Cheung spends her days behind the scenes on a team that negotiates promotional campaigns for films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, and the upcoming animated Rapunzel adventure, Tangled. “Any time you see a cell phone being used in a movie, or Buzz and Woody on a cereal box, that’s us,” says the 30-year-old University of California, Santa Barbara communications grad. Because she swings between meetings with creative-minded filmmakers and others with corporate execs, Cheung favors a clean, polished look with feminine, I’m-so-not-a-suit flourishes, such as cropped trousers with an embellished T-shirt or a short black dress, belted at the waist, with magenta heels. “Jennifer Aniston is my idol,” says Cheung, who lives in Brentwood and drives a white Lexus—relevant details in L.A., where domain and car tell you as much about a woman as the bag she carries. (Cheung, FYI, favors Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton.)

First of all, I never understood why she had to have her own series. Lauren Conrad (don't even get me started on the "designer") had her own little show, and a little Vogue intern sidekick Whitney. MTV decided to follow Whitney on her career to NYC as another "designer". I could go on and on about how irritating her voice is, how stupid the Erin/Olivia fight was, and how Elle magazine's reputation looked questionable. RIP Whitney Eve.
Audrina Patridge has finally moved past the meaningful silences that made her famous on "The Hills." The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant has landed her own reality show on VH1, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show, developed by 'Survivor' producer Mark Burnett, centers around the starlet and her family as they learn the ins and outs of juggling their lives and careers in Hollywood.
The as-of-yet untitled reality project, which begins filming next year, is already a source of excitement for Patridge, who says, "I can't wait to begin filming and introduce the world to my amazing family."
In one of the more unexpected legal stories I have seen in a while, the Hell’s Angels have filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Alexander McQueen for what they call the misuse of their Winged Death’s Head symbol.
The suit, which was filed in federal court in California on Monday, cites four products in particular: a three-finger “Hell’s Knuckle Duster” Ring, a $1,595 dress, and a $560 scarf. Retailers Saks and Zappos have also been included in the claim for selling the products.
From the Financial Times:
The complaint argues that the Hells Angels have used both their name and the winged death’s head symbol since at least 1948, and that their registration at the US Patent and Trademark Office protects the use of both in jewellery and clothing.
“From decades of notoriety, the HAMC marks have acquired very widespread public recognition. Consequently they evoke strong and immediate reactions whenever used,” the complaint states. “The impact of these marks is virtually incomparable, and as a result they have great commercial value.”
On Monday, Harry Potter costume designer Jany Temime was accused of stealing the design of an Alexander McQueen dress for a wedding scene in the latest Potter film.
I found three of the offending McQueen items and have included them, as well as the Hell’s Angel symbol below. I honestly can understand the lawsuit, because the designs of McQueen eerily do look too similar to the Hell's Angel logo, though I'm sure it's just a weird coincidence. Take a look and tell me what you think: has McQueen done wrong? Or are the Hell’s Angels picking a fight they can’t win?

Despite the fact Burberry usually sticks to traditional prints and tones in collections for adults, they do opt for more colorful and interesting ideas when creating ranges for children. For Winter 2010 children line they used vivid pinks and reds as well as blues.

Burberry Children Winter 2010 Ad Campaign features three cute kids wearing beautiful bright garments, including coats, jackets, dresses, trousers and a number of accessories like plaid umbrellas, scarves and purses.

Jimmy Choo is the brand fashionistas all over the world are ready to die for. The shoes they design are flawless, stylish and super elegant. Ugg boots have absolutely different characteristics. They are comfy and warm but hardly ever as chic as Choo creations. However, the two companies have teamed up again to make footwear for Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 season that could combine all those wonderful features.

Like Jennifer Lopez, Miss Taylor Swift Loves her Wildfox Couture heart sweatshirt. Adorable!
Love this family! Best mom in Hollywood!

ast night, “Glee” returned from its short break (okay, one week, but it felt like a really, really long time) not just with a new episode, but with the show’s highly anticipated take on cult horror classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Were you all sitting on the edge of your seat, like I was? (well, lying on my king size with my laptop). Last night’s episode has a lot of hype and expectations to live up to and I think it mostly succeeded. After the sweet and simple “Duets” episode, this special tribute definitely shook things up, but was it a little over the top? Mmmm, yes. But it was love.
Let’s discuss peeps…
Mr. Schue encourages the glee club to perform “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” for the school’s fall musical, in yet another attempt to win back Ms. Pillsbury, who is a fan of the racy film. Smelling a scandal, a cable news outlet taps Sue to report on the production, as “Rocky Horror” is not exactly a Disney film. No kidding. But I wish that Sue would have donned the high heels and fish nets. Tim Curry would be so proud!

My last thought? WHERE THE HELL IS PUCK!!!?????? God we need him back on the show!
More Joe Zee on tee vee coming at you on the Sundance Channel. The star of The City (he's also the creative director of Elle and an avid wearer of Chanel yeti suits), Zee will become mentor extraordinaire on new show "All On The Line"—a show that features one struggling fashion designer in crisis per episode. It's kind of like "Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares," but not Gordon Ramsay and not kitchens. WWD reports: "In the end, he will get each designer ready to present to a buyer or will “make or break their dreams." All I want to know is whether Zee is planning on wearing his yeti costume on the show. I'm waiting in anticipation!
Milla Jovovich wore a floor-length orange dress to the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala last night, which is right on trend, according to the spring runways! And very much in the Halloween spirit, of course. She accessorized with a matching bedazzled belt and white shoes encrusted with turquoise.
Do you think Milla's pumpkin-colored outfit is perfect for this time of year, or does it clash with the red carpet?
