Hey LL&L Readers!

I am calmly sitting in Starbucks, sipping my iced black tea, uploading some great candids from my friend Allie's new photoshoot for her debut line, Allistair. She is a new designer, based our of North Carolina, and she has been selling well in local shops & boutiques. She just wrapped up a lookbook for her debut fall collection, and I am crossing fingers for her future success. Her clothes and accessories are beyond beautiful. Simple chocolates, creams, and deep pumpkin colors are the fabrics she has chosen, with lots of dark wood jewelry. I am such a fan of hers and I hope to get photos up soon and details on where you can purchase. 

This week I am working a full five days up until Friday. Our cousin, Rich, is marrying is beautiful fiance AnneRose in Washington D.C. this weekend so my husband and I, along with our 2 year old, my mother and sister will be venturing away from the beach down into the good old Capital. I am really excited to see them get married but I am also eager to see the location and what-not of the Hotel Monaco, where the reception will be taking place. Thanks to some helpful readers, I did locate a beautiful linen skirt to go with my silk coral top, so hopefully it's summer wedding-attire appropriate. Updo? Side pony? Suggestions for a must-have wedding guest hairstyle would be great (note: my silk coral top has a wide deep v-neck and I have long silver Elizabeth & James earrings I have been dying to wear!). Anyways, here's to another fabulous week! I will uploading some wonderful wedding photos sometime Sunday, when we get back (though I will try to make the remainder of the weekend a beach day for our son and I).
