The Choupette bag, which was presented during Chanel Fall 2012 Haute Couture fashion show has been previously described by Cathy Horyn as “knitted, soft”. She tweeted before the show: “Just saw the Choupette bag in the studio at Chanel. Knitted, soft. Name of Karl’s cat.” Choupette became an Internet sensation after Lagerfeld posted a picture of her playing with an iPad in May.
