Calling Toddlers & Tiaras. We have some new contestants for your rediculous TLC reality series. There’s something about these photos that reminds me of the poor murdered child beauty queen Jonbenet Ramsey in these photos from the Tom Ford-edited issue of French Vogue. None of these girls appears to be older than 5 or 6 years old, and yet all of them are wearing gallons of makeup and clothes and jewels few grown women could actually afford. Instead of little girls playing dress up in their mothers’ closet, the effect of these pictures cautions against bringing up kids too fast. I find these not too adorable, and actually, creepy. What do you all think? Harmless or harmful?
